The Joys of Potty Training

Well my baby is becoming a big girl! It is about time she showed some interest in using the potty. Even if she has to be naked on the potty, at least I don't have to change as many diapers. Bribery is what makes her keep going, she gets m&m's when she uses the potty. So of course Alyssa gets an m&m when Kalley goes potty too. Alyssa is such a great helper, she will sit and read Kalley potty books while she is sitting on the potty and she claps and dances for her when she goes. I hope this will keep her going so we don't have to buy diapers anymore!

HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!

The girls had a great start to St. Patrick's Day by eating a healthy breakfast of green eggs and apple juice from a green box. Then they dressed in their green shirts and posed for a picture. They have been practicing to say "Happy St. Patrick's Day" to everyone they see today!

Just the Girls

Well for Christmas me and girls all got matching pajama's. Everytime they wear theirs, Kalley insists that I wear mine too. So I just had to get a picture of us girls all matching. I just love spending time with my girls, I know they aren't going to be this sweet forever so I better enjoy it while I can.

Naked...is it just a phase?

Well I know 2 year olds go through a naked phase since I have been through it once before. It is just lovely when kids learn that they can take off their own clothes. Kalley has hit this phase as you can see in the pictures, I can't keep clothes on her to save my life. Well I think Alyssa has decided to relive her youth by going through this phase again! She tells me she has to take her clothes off because they are too itchy or because she is too sweaty. Personally I think she just wants more attention.

Little Miss Style

Before...

After!!
Well Alyssa has needed a haircut for awhile now, so I finally took her. For some reason Brandon wanted her to cut it all off. I on the other hand think that she should be able to choose if it is long or short. She still wanted it long so I had Cassie cut a few inches off and put a layer in it, so she would have a little style to it. Well Alyssa went around telling everyone that she was getting her hair styled...she is such a girl!

GO UTES!!

If you are wondering...this is what happens when dad is home. The girls put his Utah hat on and of course he gets the camera out. Brandon has the girls going around saying GO UTES! And he taught Alyssa to say that BYU is our enemy. Kalley can't really say her U sound very good, so she walks around singing GO WOO-TA! (Utah). It is pretty bad when my five year old recognizes a Utah hat on some stranger walking down the street while we are driving by. "Mom look that guy likes Utah like we do!" Well I hope they keep liking Utah since Brandon and I have planned that they are going to go to college there.

Pretty as a Princess!

Well I walked downstairs the other day and found the girls all dressed up like pretty little princesses. They got all dressed up and got their build a bears all dressed up too. I just love watching my girls playing together and getting along.

Well if you are wondering who this is, it is the famous Sharpay. If you don't know who Sharpay is the just watch High School Musical. She is Alyssa's favorite character, don't ask me why because she is the mean one. Alyssa has recently become obsessed with High School Musical which mean Kalley is obsessed also. I refused to pay $25 for this beautiful outfit, so Alyssa saved up her allowance until she had enough to buy it herself. I am such a mean mom!

Making Brownies For Dad

After weeks of the girls being sick I finally caught their illness. Well I started feeling better, so I thought that maybe we could get this all behind us. I didn't think Brandon would catch anything since he is out of town most of the week working. Well I was wrong, between the guys at work getting sick and all the germs floating around our house he ended up in bed for four days. Needless to say I spent this last weekend taking care of him. The girls wanted to do something for dad to, so I let them make him brownies. Although he wasn't in the mood to eat them it was the thought that counts. Of course the brownies didn't go to waste, the girls had their share of them and anyone that knows me, knows I can't resist me some chocolate. I think this is why I fail at diets so often! Well Brandon is finally feeling better so he could go back to work but not before Alyssa came down with an ear infection. I don't know if I can handle anymore sickness in my house. My counter has loooked like a pharmacy for the last month. I am constantly giving out medicine. I hope when everyone is better I don't keep drugging them out of pure habit!
